James: If your book is even half as good as your Substack, I’d be camping out all night to get a copy. 😊 Seriously though, let me know if I can be of any help. And congratulations! 👏🏼

Thanks so much, Sergei! I appreciate it :) I'd love for you to be a beta reader. Additionally, some of your reporting (with Devansh) I think would be good to directly touch on in terms of OpenAI/these other foundational model companies pushing into areas they should probably tread more carefully in. I have a conversation with two radiologists MD/AI PhDs from Stanford (literally both degrees) explaining how to think about this stuff from their perspective on what you should do... which contrasts a lot with OpenAI. I could just quote from your publications, but it would probably be fun to talk about it in an interview that might be repurpose-able into content too. We'll be syncing up on the SXSW panel, but that may be a longer convo.

Congrats on this huge undertaking and almost completing your first draft! I wish you clarity as you tackle upcoming revisions.

Thank you! It especially means a lot since you have the background/experience to know that the upcoming is going to probably going to be the more painful part of this... (Though I'm also excited. The draft is ugly in all sorts of ways I know, but I'm kind of looking forward to doing some of the renovation to make it good, even though it's also daunting).

Awesome! I definitely do want to talk to you on a number of different issues (very much on the list in terms of legal AI and also "LLMs hitting a wall" which you've written a lot about recently).
